Lok Sabha Election Result 2019

The counting will be held on May 23, 2019. Last time, The results of the election were declared on 16 May 2014. The Bharatiya Janata Party (of the NDA) achieved an absolute majority with 282 seats out of 543, 166 more than previous 15th Lok Sabha. Its PM candidate Narendra Modi took office on 26 May 2014 as the 14th prime minister of independent India.

Lok Sabha Election 2019 dates announced: Polls to be held from April 11 in 7 phases, counting on May 23.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) will announce the Lok Sabha elections 2019 schedule dates today at 5 pm. The Election Commission is also likely to announce the assembly election dates in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh, according to various media reports.

Lok Sabha Election 2019 Date

The Election Commission is likely to announce the schedule for Lok Sabha polls on Saturday. The tenure of 16th Lok Sabha will end on June 3. In 2014, the Election Commission had announced the elections schedule on March 5. The nine-phase exercise was held between April 7 and May 12. The counting was held on May 16.
