KVS Admission 2021-22: The officials of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the notification for admission to class-I to XI for the academic year 2021-22. Online registration process for admission to Class 1 at Kendriya Vidyalayas commenced on Thursday (April 1). The KVS has released admission forms on its official website- kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Interested parents should visit the official portal to get the application forms, which can be submitted by April 19, 2021, till 7:00 pm. The provisional select and waitlist List 1 will be out on April 23.
Online Registration for Admission to Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalaya for the Academic Year 2021-22 will commence at 10:00 am on 1st April 2021 and will close at 7:00 pm on 19th April 2021. The Admission details can be obtained through the website kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in and also through the mobile app. Reservation of seats will be as per KVS Admission Guidelines available on the website (www.kvsangathan.nic.in). For further details, parents may contact the Principal of nearby Kendriya Vidyalaya.

KVS Online Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Distribution of Seats
- First preference for children of transferable central govt. staff and ex-servicemen.
- Second preference for non-transferable central government worker and ex-servicemen child.
- Third preference for children of PSU/ autonomous bodies/ Institute of Higher Learning of GOI.
- Fourth preference to transferable state government employees.
- Fifth preference to the child of state government non-transferable employees.
Age Limit
- A Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.) Reservations in KV admission 2021
SC & ST Category: 15% seats for Scheduled Caste, 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes, and 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) shall be reserved in all fresh admissions in all Kendriya Vidyalayas.
Differently-abled category: 3% seats of total available seats for fresh admission will be horizontally reserved for Differently Abled-children as per the provisions of RTE Act, 2009 read in conjunction with Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.

How To Register For KVS Admission 2021?
- Visit the official website – kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in
- On the homepage of the portal, click on the “Register” tab.
- For registration on portal click on the “New Registration” tab.
- Now, proceed to read the important instructions.
- Now, read all the general instructions carefully available English and Hindi both the languages. After going through all the instructions mark the declaration and click on “Proceed” Tab.
- Now, enter all the details in the space provided and click on the “Register” option.
- Now, enter the OTP and verify it.
- Finally, the registration process is complete. Keep the login Id safe for further login. Take the printout of the registration details by clicking on the “Print” tab.
How to Fill a KVS Admission Online Form 2021?
- Visit the official website – kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in
- Click on “Login Tab”
- Fill the basic details and click on the “Next” tab.
- Now Fill Parents Detail and click the “Next” tab.
- Fill choice of Schools. Choice can be filled only for Three KVs. After filling details click on the “Next” button.
- Upload the required documents.
- After uploading documents click on the Preview button. Cross-check all the details and submit the application form.
- Verify OTP
- The application will be submitted successfully. Click on the “Print” tab and take a printout of the application for future references.
How to Check KVS Application Status?
Applicants can also check application status by clicking on “Application Status”. Follow below step-

KVS Admission List 2021
After the registration process for class 1 admission is over, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will release the first admission list on its official website. A second and third admission list may follow if seats remain vacant. The lists would be released by individual Kendriya Vidyalayas on their respective websites.
